How long before Tom Cruise’s publicist releases a statement that reads: “My client regrets infecting Miss Holmes with the herpes virus, but such things are inevitable when two people are involved in a very real and super-duper 100% legitimate and totally heterosexual relationship. And don’t miss War of the Worlds! In theaters everywhere June 29th!”?
The bad news is that Katie’s once-lovely grille is now marred by unsightly, crusty oral lesions. The good news is that . . . well, we suppose there is no good news. When it comes to communicable social diseases, there are no winners, friends.
In other Tomkat news, Katie dropped out of attending the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala on Monday. Her spokesperson told the New York Daily News, “. . . after returning from abroad, [Katie] was extremely overwhelmed with what is happening in her life right now.” While posed canoodling photo ops do tend to exhaust a girl (trust us, we know!), we assume that she ditched out because the oozing, inflamed blisters had taken over her entire face, a look that doesn’t sit well with the fashion industry.
