We love the idea that Michael Jackson needs millions and millions of dollars to maintain his lavish lifestyle and buy lots of stuffed elephants dipped in platinum and Old Navy pajama pants. He could just sit back and watch the dollars roll in from the auction at Neverland, but, dammit, he's a star, and people still want to see him, right? Michael Jackson has invited stars of the 'Harry Potter' films to the opening night of his 'This Is It' shows.

The three main stars from the wizard franchise – Daniel Radcliffe, 19, Emma Watson, 18, and Rupert Grint, 20 – have reportedly been offered access all areas passes for the start of Michael's 'This Is It' farewell residency at London's O2 arena on July 8.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Michael is a huge fan of the 'Harry Potter' books and films.

"He was utterly enchanted by the magic of JK Rowling's novels and owns all the movies and he has bought memorabilia for his collection."

Michael is said to be such a big 'Harry Potter' fan he owns a first edition copy of JK Rowling's debut novel 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', which is worth around ¬£10,000.

Michael Jackson is pretty sheltered and insulated from the goings on in the world, right? So here's what we think happened: MJ was home one Saturday afternoon (and by home, we mean an extravagant penthouse suite in a hotel in Bahrain) when he decided to take in a little television. He happened upon ABC Family, where a Harry Potter marathon (a two-day event!) was under way. So he curled up on the couch with his Snuggie and a cup of Swiss Miss with mini marshmallows and watched the first two Harry Potter films straight through. The only problem was, Michael forgot to tune back in on Sunday, so in his mind Harry and Ron will forever be just about thirteen years old. Perrrrrfect!

One person who doesn't want Lindsay Lohan's missionary position? Ron Weasley. He's not looking to taste a slice of Paris Hilton's pie either. Digital Spy reports:

Rupert Grint has claimed it is best to avoid female stars like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.

The Harry Potter actor revealed that he met Lohan last year in America and that she bored him by talking about herself all the time.

Grint added that he didn't want to meet Hilton because she was the sort of girl you should "stay away from".

He told The Sun: "I met Lindsay last summer and she talked about herself a lot.

"She said she was going to win an Oscar before she turns 25. I just kept thinking, 'But you canít act'.

"I havenít met Paris and donít want to either. She and Lindsay are the type of girls you need to stay away from."

We think the wee-est Weasley boy makes a good point. Look at the people who have come into contact with Paris and Lindsay. Britney Spears lost her goddamn mind after about three days with Paris. Kim Kardashian will never again be able to enter a public bathroom without someone assuming she's there to take the place of the toilet. And Lindsay's poor little sister Ali is probably about four months away from being sold outright to Hugh Hefner or Joe Francis, whoever gives Dina the highest bid. Rupert's better off hanging out with a dude who gets boners from horses.
