We don't know who to trust, who to put our faith in. At this point the only person we can count on when it comes to flaunting funbags is Pam Anderson. And that's sad.

"Let me tell you, The Reader was not glamorous for me in terms of body hair maintenance. I had to grow it in, because you can't have a landing strip in 1950, you know? And then because of years of waxing, it doesn't come back quite the way it used to. They even made me a merkin because they were so concerned that I might not be able to grow enough. I said, 'Guys, I am going to have to draw the line at a pubic wig. But you can shoot my own snatch up close and personal.'"

Can you imagine if this was your job? Being a professional pubic consultant on the set of major motion pictures, having to handcraft merkins for celebrities, painstakingly matching color, length, and volume? We like to picture a little old Bavarian man in a tiny, charming workshop, with helper elves, perhaps, tucked into the mountains, lovingly constructing Kate Winslet's faux pube pelt from the finest hand-raised beavers, then dissolving into tears when he found out it would not be used. "My verk! All my painschtaking verk! For nussing!"

The British star is not afraid of going nude in front of the cameras – she has flashed the flesh in more than 10 films, including Titanic, Hamlet, and 2008's The Reader.

But she fears getting a reputation for baring all – and the Golden Globe winning star admits she is unlikely to strip off for a role again.

Maybe if Mr Skin invents a new, even more coveted award Kate will change her mind and reach for that brass ring by continuing to show off her things. But then again, chances are good that Kate will be taking home her first Oscar on Sunday, so maybe that's a milestone for her. Before Oscar: Whip 'em out often, and with great gusto. After Oscar: Be serious, demure actress who is always covered in corsets and lace. We say if it ain't broke don't fix it. If those knockers help her get that trophy, she best keep doing what she's been doingógetting naked.

Winslet recalls, "My father was so worried about our phone he kept cutting it off and installed a payphone in our home. Or he would pick up the extension and sigh and tut down the line when I was talking to boyfriends. The payphone's not there anymore. But I do remember the days of it beeping and me shouting, 'Hang on, hang on, get a coin! Don't hang up, don't break up with me on the phone – I just need a coin!'"

Far be it from us to question anyone's parenting choices, but we have to wonder if all of Mr. Winslet's disciplinary ideas came from episodes of The Brady Bunch.

Kate Winslet had "no boundaries" in her love scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Kate's husband – Sam Mendes, who directed Kate and Leonardo in 'Revolutionary Road' – has revealed his wife didn't get embarrassed when she shot her steamy scenes in the movie.

He said: "There were no boundaries – Leo could go anywhere and Kate will never get offended and he knew that. It's exciting to know that someone's never going to get cross with you or embarrassed if you hit them or lift them onto a kitchen cabinet and make love to them or whatever it is."

And boy, did Leo take off and run with that direction. He kissed her against a countertop. That scene was so no-boundaries that she kept her clothes on and everything. When it comes to going that extra mile for acting, hoooo nelly, these two really raised the bar for all of us.
