Courteney Cox has ditched her longtime BFF Jennifer Aniston!

"It seems like Courteney and Jen's close friendship has chilled in recent months, and it comes down to their lifestyles not gelling anymore," an insider told The ENQUIRER. "Jen is almost a workaholic who spends her free time dating and hunting for Mr. Right, while Courteney is happily married and busy juggling work and motherhood."

Cox, who is supposedly best pals with her former "Friends" co-star Jennifer Aniston, was spotted chatting with Aniston's ex-husband Brad Pitt at a concert Sunday night. Cox was at the Wiltern Theater in LA with husband David Arquette for the final stop on rocker Chris Cornell's Scream album tour when Pitt showed up. Our backstage spy told us, "Instead of ignoring him, Courteney chatted away with Brad all night. The three were in great spirits and seemed really happy to see each other."

Personally we have bigger issues with the fact that Courteney was at a Chris Cornell concert than with her exchanging pleasantries with her friend's ex-husband.

(Trust me – you wonít hear it when ìCougar Townî airs next season.)

Ohmigod, does the husband need to shave because he, like, has a really important meeting in the morning with the corporate bigwigs from Atlanta and he needs to look presentable? But then he can't shave because one of the kids was playing with his razor and making a peanut butter sandwich at the same time and got peanut butter all over the razor and now it won't work? Because that would be filthy. And hilarious.

ABC has greenlighted a single-camera comedy pilot from "Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence to star "Friends" alumna Courteney Cox.

Produced by ABC Studios and penned by Lawrence and "Scrubs" writer Kevin Biegel, "Cougar Town" centers on an attractive, newly single 40-year-old mom (Cox) with a 17-year-old son.

"Forty-year-old women on TV are so beautiful and perfect and wrinkle-free," said Lawrence, who first worked with Cox when he was a writer on "Friends." "People don't do the reality of it, and there is a real comedy area about a woman who is talking about Botox, about having sex with the lights on and how her body is changing."

Lawrence and Biegel had the idea for the show for a while, and Lawrence felt that Cox, whom he describes as "comedically fearless," would be perfect for the lead. After the actress guest-starred on the opening three episodes of the upcoming season of "Scrubs," he approached her.

Cox said she has been "a huge fan of Bill Lawrence and his comedic sensibilities" since "Friends" and that "after having such a great time with him on 'Scrubs,' it felt like the perfect fit."

Lawrence drew some of the inspiration for the show from his fortysomething wife, actress Christa Miller, who has been recurring on "Scrubs" and also might appear on "Cougar Town."
