Pro volleyball player Victoria Prince said she found out in mid-October that she’s expecting K-Fed’s fifth child, and friends fear the surprising baby news could send the emotionally fragile Britney back off the rails.

“Britney never wanted Kevin to have another child unless it was with her,” revealed a source. “She desperately wants to have a baby girl, and she had hoped Kevin would be the dad.”

Britney, meanwhile, appeared in Perth, Australia, donning a see-through T-shirt and no bra, her tits really getting into the spirit of being Down Under.

Out on a stroll in Los Angeles last weekend with husband Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart showed in public what the couple’s close friends have known for some time: that she’s expecting. In February, Dane, 37, told Ellen DeGeneres that he and Gayheart, 38, wanted a baby. “They’re definitely happy,” a source tells PEOPLE. “They’ve been trying for so long.” Reps for the pair have not commented.

Aw, this is sweet. Rebecca Gayheart is a kind and nurturing caregiver who thinks children are great! Great speed bumps, that is.

Samantha Burke, the 24-year-old aspiring actress whom Law met while filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City last year, gave birth to a 5-lb., 12-oz daughter Tuesday night.

“Samantha Burke is overwhelmed with joy at the arrival of her beautiful and healthy baby girl, Sophia,” Burke’s rep, Eileen Koch, tells PEOPLE. “The baby and mom are doing wonderful.”

Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery have welcomed their first child, a girl, her rep tells Usmagazine.com exclusively.

“Her name is Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery,” her rep tells Us. “She was born Sept. 15 in Los Angeles.”

Sophia and Stella join Charlotte Prinze as celeb babies whose names don’t make us fear for the future of humanity. But while this is good for us, it’s kind of crappy for the kids. Without f’ed-up names, these children just might grow up normal, well-adjusted, and accepted by their peers. Kids like that don’t grow up to make tons of cash off of scandalous tell-alls.
