It's never funny when celebrities die. Except maybe that time Isadora Duncan bit it when her long scarf got caught in the wheels of her convertible. I mean, what are the odds? Hahahaha! Good times, good times. Anyway, Ed McMahon has departed this mortal coil at the fine old age of 86. CNN reports:
Ed McMahon, the longtime pitchman and Johnny Carson sidekick whose "Heeeeeeerre's Johnny!" became a part of the vernacular, has died.
Ed McMahon had suffered several health problems in recent years. McMahon passed away peacefully shortly after midnight at the Ronald Reagan/UCLA Medical Center, his publicist, Howard Bragman, said Tuesday. McMahon, 86, was hospitalized in February with pneumonia and other medical problems.
Goodnight, classy gentleman. You better have my Publisher's Clearing House check ready for me when I get to heaven. And balloons. I want balloons. Mostly blue ones.
