It is the American publics for voting for the prudes that appoint the FCC whackos. If you want less restriction, use your vote and push for reforms to the FCC. I saw a good line in a movie or show that can be modified for these purposes : Are you an American, or an American't ? [I believe Cheech Marin may have been involved] Up here in Canada we got some serious prudes too, but we are able to show more skin and say more colorful metaphors in programming created here, up until the program gets re-edited [hacked up] for the American market. Too bad you couldn't see the unedited version of Paridise Falls, it had some sweet nude scenes most of which were removed and all the foul words were silenced for American broadcast.
