Yeah, so Naomi Campbell attacked someone last night. Again. We know, we know, big whoop, right? Well, this time she's not cuffing the help; she's pummeling a friend. Can't fault the girl for wanting to mix it up a little.
Actress and (former fiancÈe of Rocco DiSpirito!) Yvonne SciÚ filed a police report and found herself in the hospital last night after she made the grave error of wearing a similar dress as Naomi. The incident occurred at the Eden Hotel in Rome, Italy. "This will be going to court and Naomi will have to appear. This was a completely unprovoked attack of violence by Naomi," says SciÚ's attorney Annamaria Bernardini De Pace. "Yvonne is in bed in a lot of pain. Her face is in a terrible way. She lost a lot of blood [italics ours]. She is an actress, so she will not be able to work for a while. We will also be looking for loss of earnings." Seeing as how she's made one movie in the past three years, that should work out to about $56.42.
Domenico Condello, an Italian police officer, gives his side of the tale: "I can confirm that an allegation of assault has been made. Ms. SciÚ came to the police station with cuts to her lip. She said that Naomi had insulted her and attacked her over some clothes she was wearing. We have taken a full statement from Ms. SciÚ and we will be checking her claims with Naomi Campbell."
And Naomi's spokesperson tells her side: "Naomi has been mistakenly dragged into a potential drama in Rome after an 'actress' and long-term acquaintance, Yvonne SciÚ, made claims about a dispute. Naomi made it clear there had been 'a disagreement' in which she told Miss SciÚ that she was 'very disappointed at her behavior and that she should go now.'" Aha! Accusing the accuser of courting drama! A very Lohan move. Well played, Naomi Campbell. Well played.
