Last week we posted a little video of the lovely and tal–the lovely Mischa Barton giving a spacey-ass goofball interview. This gal was acting nutty as a fruitcake, and that nuttiness may have gotten the better of her, because Access Hollywood is claiming that the night before last, cops were called to her home and she was removed and put on psychiatric hold.
On Wednesday, Access broke the news that authorities had responded to the Los Angeles home of the starlet after receiving a non-911 call from her residence around 3 PM. A patrol car responded to the scene and began assisting Barton with a ìmedical issue,î a spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed to Access on Wednesday evening.
The source claimed that Barton was placed under Section 5150 of the California Welfare and Institutions Code by police and transported to Cedars-Sinai.
A rep for the actress confirmed to Access that Barton will not attend the world premiere of her new film, ìHomecoming,î which happens Thursday night in New York City, but released no further details on the star.
Frankly, after watching this clip from Mischa’s upcoming CW series The Beautiful Life, we’re not surprised someone called the cops on her. The BAD ACTING cops! AHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, touchÈ! CelebNewsWire, you are too droll!

She's going where life is beautiful all the time and she'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're
coming to take her away.
Ah, my own personal song. One time, I actually had the nerve to play that sucker for one whole hour. Surprisingly, no one even noticed. Sad, really.
As for Ms. Barton, I hope she gets the help she needs, although I don't think three days is going to do it.
Well, I didn't think she was acting all that weird in that video from a few days ago.
But you were right CNW, guess you can see things that I can't see.
It takes a Big Man, Big Earl, to admit when you've missed the signs of a celebrity's mental illness in a two-minute video clip. I thought she was just tripping balls on some magic mushrooms myself.
