We figured that after Dawson's Creek ended most of the show's principles would go the way of the cast of Degrassi Junior High and we'd wonder what ever happened to them in twenty years. But gawky Katie Holmes managed to land herself the role of a lifetime as Tom Cruise Wifebot #3, and bad girl Michelle Williams is doing her best to keep up.
She found her own movie-star boyfriend and was even nominated for a Golden Globe. And you know how she did that? Nudity, my friends. She had previously only disrobed in little-seen features (If These Walls Could Talk 2 and Me Without You); but when she showed her hills in Brokeback Mountain, the whole farm stopped by for a look. And her newest project, The Hawk Is Dying, which screened at Sundance, holds more of Michelle's assets–namely, her ass. Paul Giamatti gets to see her bare behind in a pair of scenes–that pretty much makes up for last year's Oscar snub in our mind. Let's just hope that Michelle doesn't go the way of Katie and her missing Thank You for Smoking sex scene now that she has a money-making man and adorably named tot.
