Liv Tyler to the Rescue

Joe, a real American hero. Yesterday in L.A., Liv saw a grandma yelling at a screaming child and smacking him in the chest, so Liv stepped in to give granny what for. X17 says:

Liv almost caused an accident and she hit the brakes, did a U-turn, and pulled over on the side of the road to reprimand the woman. The woman didn't speak English and kept telling Tyler "No entiendo. (I don't understand.)" Liv was telling her "You can't do that! I'm going to call the police; I'm going to call Child Services!"

Liv tried to comfort the crying boy and when she finally walked away to go back to her car, she told X17 photographers, "When I saw that, I couldn't take it. I had to do something."

Heroes everywhere! But just imagine what this looked like to the grandma. Standing there, minding her own business, poking her grandchild in the solar plexus without a care in the world, and then the lady from One Night at McCool's comes up and starts squawking in unflattering shorts. Chilling!
