Insiders say Mean Girls teen titan Lindsay Lohan is letting her life spiral out of control. The flame-haired Disney diva's steady diet of partying, crashing cars, and cranking out hit flicks have taken a heavy toll on her emotions, health, and romance, even landing her in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with "flu-like symptoms" after working herself to the limit. Hey, at least she wasn't hospitalized for the dreaded "exhaustion."
"Lindsay's headed for disaster," says a source close to the star. "With movie commitments through 2007, it's all moving too fast for her to keep up. Her nasty attitude isn't helping. And the crazier and more unpleasant her life gets, the more bitchy and overwrought she becomes."
Three days before her hospitalization, Lindsay smashed her BMW into a guardrail at on her way to boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama's house after a night out at the West Hollywood hot spot Guy's.
In addition to her penchant for smashing up vehicles, Lindsay's been showing up late to the set of her new Disney movie, Herbie: Fully Loaded; that is, if she shows up at all.
Wilmer, 24, star of TV's That '70s Show, is also growing weary of her Shannen Dohertyesque behavior, said the close source. "He's a nice guy, but I don't think he's going to tolerate it much longer."
