Woe unto the Lohan who attempts to get faced. Sobriety's a bitch! A snitch told Life & Style mag that the reformed walking distillery can't get wasted even if she tried (and oh, she's trying), because her people phoned various sundry Los Angeles bars and told them to refuse her service. IMDb reports that Lindsay attempted to order booze at the Viceroy bar on October 19:
"She was fine at first, but it was obviously too soon for her to be around people who were drinking, because she later asked the server for a vodka. But her people had called ahead and servers were told not to give in no matter how often Lindsay asked for alcohol." Despite denials about the incident from Lohan's publicist, a guest at the Viceroy, who overheard the exchange between the actress and a waitress, tells the publication, "I heard the waitress say that she was sorry but she wasn't allowed to serve her. Lindsay walked out soon after, looking embarrassed."
Probably a smart move. Very protective. It will be interesting to see what happens when Lindy tries to purchase a baggie of blow from her dealer, who will lay a concerned hand on the star's shoulder and look deep into her eyes, saying, "I'm sorry. I've been informed that I cannot lend you my services. Good day, young lady." Bartenders and coke dealers: THEY CARE! Or so says the poster next to our desk of a litter of wide-eyed kittens in a bow-festooned basket.
