We hate hate hate when celebrities bitch and moan about having to work out. You know what? Suck it, celebrities. We hate going to the office every damn day. Sure, we then get to sit on our asses and eat Sara Lee frozen cheesecake while watching The Biggest Loser, but we're pretty sure no celeb would trade us lives. What with the fame and millions and millions of dollars and all. So when Jessica Simpson complains about her trainer, we feel no sympathy. Says Us Weekly:
Jessica Simpson — who battled scrutiny for her new curves earlier this year — is working out again.And she doesn't like it.
"On my way to workout with my trainer," she wrote on her Twitter page Monday. "Every time we have to do squats, and he yells at me, 'Get lower like you're in the club!'"
Simpson, 27, then adds, "I don't squat in the club unless I am peeing!"
This was directly follwed by a link to an Us Weekly photo gallery with the prompt: "See photos of stars working out." We like this sort of targeted marketing. We're reading about Jessica Simpson working out, so obviously we're interested in seeing other celebrities working out. Genius. But we can't help but think that Us missed a golden (har har) opportunity here. After all, the last word before that link was peeing. Where's the photo gallery of stars peeing? Is Us too classy for that? Is that more of a Life & Style thing?
