Hollywood isn't a hard game if you know the rules. And the rules are simple: don't be fat unless you're a guy, don't sleep with Jeremy Piven, and don't fuck with Faye Dunaway. Young and nubile upstart Hilary Duff has the first two down pat, but when it comes to incurring the wrath of Faye, she's got a lot to learn. According to Variety:
Hilary Duff and Kevin Zegers will star in the indie feature "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde," produced by Cypress Moon Studios.
Tonya S. Holly will direct the film from her own script, which is a new adaptation of the story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow rather than a remake of the 1967 classic film starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty.
And the Chicago Sun-Times reports:
Learning her role as Bonnie Parker would be portrayed by Hilary Duff, Dunaway supposedly zinged, ''Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?''
It's too bad Hilary had her giant novelty veneers removed back in 2007, because the only way to defeat the bloodthirsty gorgon that is Faye Dunaway is tooth-to-tooth battle. Growling and snapping, like a couple of latter-day T. Rexes.
