The spoon of Gyllenspoon is tarnished. The rod of Hud-Rod has wilted like a hothouse flower. Two of Hollywood’s power couples–Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal and Kate Hudson and A-Rod–are no more. PopEater reports on the former:
“The relationship was at the point where they either got engaged or broke up,” a friend of Jake’s tells me. “There is no doubt that they love each other very much, but Reese wasn’t ready to say ‘I do.’ And if she wasn’t ready after two years of dating, Jake wondered if she ever would be.”
Wow, there are only two options after two years? Mindbending. And the latter? Hollywood Life says:
Insiders tell us that A-Rod partied in Miami solo all weekend (and with other women!), while Kate was in New York promoting her new movie, Nine. A-Rod partied, “with two women,” said our source. “He was acting VERY single, and Kate Hudson was definitely not there.”
The source also said, “Kate and A-Rod broke up.” Reps for Kate and A-Rod haven’t gotten back to us, but our sources insist, “They are totally over.”
The best solution here would be for all of them to just trade partners. Because Jake and A-rod would look so cute together!
