Britney Spears was pulled over by highway patrol on Friday night as she was speeding towards Las Vegas. According to Splash News and Dlisted, Brit drove, oblivious, for a mile while the cops flashed their lights behind her. She finally pulled over and explained that she thought they were paparazzi. Paparazzi in black and white police cars with blinking blue lights on top. She got off with a warning, and one of the cops allegedly said,
"It pays to be a popstar."
To which the other cop said, "Yup, that it does, that it does. Maybe someday we'll meet a pop star." The first cop said, "Yeah, so far we've just had Britney Spears. But someday, maybe. Someday."
