The real reason Britney Spears isn't speaking to her mother? It has nothing to do with drugs or rehab or her kids; Brit's mad that her pussy mom can't take an open palm to the face. According to MSNBC:
The bad blood between Britney Spears and her mother has turned physical.The troubled pop princess and Lynne Spears had a ìshocking slapfestî in mid-June that ìleft Lynne shaken and Britney more determined than ever to cut her mother out of her life for good,î according to Star magazine.
The trouble reportedly began when Lynne Spears stopped by her daughterís house with an invitation on the weekend of June 15. ìLynne barged into the house and insisted on taking the kids out to spend some private time with them,î an insider told the tab. ìShe didnít ask or suggest, she demanded!î says the insider. ìThen she began denigrating Britneyís mothering skills and losing her temper at the same time!î
It was because of the cat fight that Spears served the legal papers against her mother, but the buzz is that Lynne Spears is mulling a countersuit. But she doesnít completely blame her daughter ó she believes the Toxic star is suffering from depression.
ìDespite their problems, Lynne cares deeply for Britney and wants to find a way to help her,î a ìfriendî told Star. ìShe thinks antidepressant drugs may be the answer. Lynne feels Britney has severe depression issues, and they are in large part the cause of her apparent manic behavior and past problems with alcohol.î
We expect an explanation to appear on Brit's website in about a week with her new favorite excuse, "I was studying for a roll" (and, yes, it does come deliciously buttered). This time Britney will disclose that her slaphappiness was on account of her upcoming turn in a remake of The Big Bird Cage. She just needed some catfight experience.
