Our sanity continues to deteriorate with every Britney story we're forced to write. You know it's bad when we long for the days when Paris Hilton in jail consumed us like a rash. A rash on our genitalia. At any rate, Britney can now have one supervised overnight visit per week with her children. But it's something of a miracle that The Man allowed this, since she was apparently a real cooze in court. TMZ reports:
Britney Spears had quite the interaction today with L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon, and she dug a hole deeper than a Louisiana swamp.
We're told Spears had a back and forth with the Commish that lasted approximately 40 minutes. She constantly interrupted him and at times was extremely sarcastic. At one point she started thanking the judge for what he had done, but her tone was heavily laced with disdain.
We're told the Commish explained to Spears how she had gotten to the point she's at — why defying the various orders she was supposed to comply with raised concerns that she was not a responsible person. Spears didn't get it. She was at times contentious, argumentative and condescending.
We're told K-Fed's lawyer didn't object to her testimony, it was so bad. One description of today's testimony, pretty simple — "Appalling."
Wow. Britney truly has a pair of giant concrete balls to get snippy with Michael Chiklis. Seriously, that dude is The Thing, come on!
P.S. We're sorry that this story is in the Sexy Lady Story slot, although it isn't very sexy (despite the presence of Michael Chiklis, rowr). We just thought that yesterday's double shot of exposed tuna tube was enough to last two days. Enjoy.
