Britney Spears: Repeat Rehab Quitter

britney funny glasses.jpg
We hope Britney knows a good medical supply store where she can procure a sturdy pair of crutches to use once she cuts off that foot, cause she's already out of rehab. Maybe she took the super-intense booze-n-drug version of the gay cure and is now completely sober. Oh, and she may have shaved her head to avoid drug testing. Or because her weave was crawling with lice. (And you may have noticed that we opted to illustrate this post with an old, whimsical picture of Brit rather than the Britney-at-Promises pics that are flooding the interweb. It seems that after years of hibernation, our moral compass has finally awoken to give us guidance, and that guidance is "Don't post pictures of people in rehab." We'll fiddle with the compass's innards and make sure it's malfunctioning the next time we happen upon a snap of a celeb's bare spread beaver, though.)

If you thought, as we did, that Britney's Sineadification came because there's nowhere she can run to anymore, you were probably wrong. It was the K-Fed. Or the bugs. The New York Daily News reports:

According to OK! magazine, it was a blowout with Federline that sent Spears reeling over the edge.

"They had a huge argument," a source told the magazine. "Kevin threatened Britney that he was going to have people test her hair to find out exactly what she's been up to. She was so scared. That was what made her have her head shaved."

But according to Britain's slightly less reliable Daily Mail:

A source for the 25-year-old singer claimed she shaved her head because of lice: "She thought lice were eating her hair extensions, so decided to get rid of them as soon as possible."

We're more apt to believe the first story, as a woman who's been known to traverse the pee-stained tile of gas-station bathrooms in her bare feet doesn't seem like she'd be too concerned with a couple creepy crawlies. They're just trying to eat, y'all.
