Do not cry for Mena Suvari. She may have had a rough year, what with her divorce from cinematographer Robert Brinkmann and the bombing of her big-budget dog biscuit Rumor Has It and all, but things are looking up for this tenacious little pixie. Love has a funny way of finding you when and where you least expect it. Like, uh, at a breakdancing tournament.
Mena has reportedly been happily dating a breakdancer by the name of Mike Carrasco, who goes by the utterly droll nickname of "Murda". Dude must have the footwork and the power moves, because Suvari happily gushes:
"(We met) at an event, at Battle of the Year. He didn't know anything about me. Nothing. He didn't know who I was or anything."
Kudos to Mena for finding the one man in America who has seen neither the American Pie trilogy nor her charming crapping scene in Spun. Mena and Murda have been seeing each other exclusively for six months and apparently knew they were meant for one another when, along with their pals Turbo and Ozone, they saved local youth center Miracles from the evil clutches of greedy real estate developer Mr. Douglas through the power of love, friendship, and brutal headspins.
