Facebook has kind of become the "classy" MySpace. Like its slutty predecessor, one can use it for posting passive-aggressive updates like "Joe Schmoe is UTTERLY DEVASTATED" and allude to your romantic availability via relationship updates; however, people's moms are on it and it generally doesn't feature glitter graphics of blinged out pot leaves, so it's more upscale. But tell that to Bono, whose smug mug was spotted uno-dos-tres-quatorze-ing with some nineteen-year-old dames in bikinis on their Facebook pages. Celebrity Fix says:
The 48-year-old rocker, dubbed 'Saint Bono' by the UK tabloids due to his tireless humanitarian work, was chilling in St. Tropez with pal Simon Carmody when he was photographed hanging out with the two 19-year-olds, who later partied with the dad-tastic pair on a private yacht.
And the pics, of course, ended up on the girl's Facebook pages.
"Bono is usually seen in his role as rock star, family man and anti-poverty campaigner, work for which he earned an honorary knighthood," reported The Daily Mail when they first published these pictures.
One of the bikini-clad pair, American fashion student Andrea Feick, laughed off any sordid suggestions when quizzed by the Mail On Sunday. "I think that for somebody whoís much older than I am… no thank you," she said. "Heís a friend of mine and thatís pretty much it. Iím not going to get into details, but itís a small world."
Sounds innocent, despite the Daily Mail alleging that "later that evening, [Bono and the girls] took a stroll along the beach, where Bono put his arm around Miss Feickís waist and then wrapped himself around Miss Emersonís neck." Other pics posted on their profile include one of Andrea wearing a hat Bono bought in Disneyland.
