Aw crap! January isn't even over and 2006 blows already: Uma Thurman is puttin the kibosh on all future nude scenes. As God is Uma Thurman's witness, she will never! Go naked! Again! They may take her clothes, but they'll never take . . . her FREEDOM!

The lovely and charming Ms. Thurman told the UK's Esquire magazine that her first nude scene, in 1988's Dangerous Liaisons, was so traumatic that she's sworn off all future onscreen peelings. Which is funny--that was eighteen years ago and apparently she was so traumatized that she willingly bared her freakishly flawless tit-tays in at least four movies (by our count) since. Says Oom:

"I felt some trepidation going in, but it was an art movie. It was based on this classic novel set in eighteenth-century France, and the scene was appropriate. When 'Dangerous Liaisons' came out, the scene was sensationalist in this really creepy, voyeuristic way. It made it seem out of character and it didn't make sense to me . . . I certainly didn't want to become a sensational sex symbol."

Neither did we, Uma, but it happened, and we deal with it, OK? When we hear that knock on the door and it's twenty-two internationally famous models and the "America's Sexiest Foxes" nominees, we do our g.d. jobs.
