Paula Abdul sure has had a rough year, what with that hit-and-run snafu and being batshit crazy (that really takes a lot of time and energy, you know). But we never would have guessed that she has to pay for sex. That seems more like a Clay Aiken thing. Or Ryan Seacrest. Or Simon Cowell . . . hell, you're likely to find any of those American Idol skeezebags at your local house of skank, but we thought that Paula could still at least pick up some lonely accountant in the bar at T.G.I. Fridays.

But Paula wasn't paying just anyone to visit her dusty old love tunnel--she was getting that hot, paid-in-full action from an American Idol contestant, someone whose fate she figuratively held in the palm of her wee little hand. Former contestant Corey Clark claimed that he had an affair with Abdul and received piles o' cash for his services, including $2 million dollars to help launch his pop career. Clark said, "She warned me, 'Don't screw me over or you'll be sorry.'" And we think that Clark should heed this advice; Emilio Estevez screwed her over and he had to do three sequels to The Mighty Ducks.

While we're shocked--shocked!--that Paula Abdul ever had $2 million to spare, we now understand why she showed up to The Golden Globes in this dress: She didn't have enough cash left over to buy a dress in her size.
