Jessica Simpson has admitted that she used to have such low self-esteem that she would write notes to herself on her mirror to make her feel more confident. That changed when the Simpson/Lachey gropefest, er, I mean marriage, commenced. Jessica misinterpreted Nick's signal of "I'm horny" as "You're beautiful."

Simpson told Cosmo Girl magazine, "I had notes taped on my mirror saying, 'you're beautiful in this skin.' I told myself that every day and eventually I got married and fell madly in love with my husband who loves every inch of me. I realized I didn't have to compete with anybody and people liked me for me. Mess-ups and all." The notes worked so well for Jessica's self-esteem that she may consider expanding the tactic for other uses. We suggest she start with a note on Nick's mirror saying, "I am faithful."
